Even wondered what to do with the carpet remnants? Many homeowners are still puzzles with the use of carpet remnants and ultimately end up putting them into scrap. However, the carpet remnants can be of a great used if a bit of innovation is added to the cause. There can be several useful applications of the carpet remnants and you should think twice before announcing it as scrap.

Carpet remnants can be effectively used to move objects on a hardwood floor without creating scratches. What you need to do is to place a remnant fiber-side down under the object in consideration so that you can slide the carpet over the floor.  Another innovative use calls for wrapping carpet remnants around steel support posts in your garage so that it can act as a cushion for your ca doors.  For improving ladder safety, you can cut a piece of carpet remnant to the size of the bottom rung of the ladder. With some adhesive you can stick this remnant to the bottom rung so it helps you wipe your feet when working in damp conditions. If you're using a ladder indoors, attach indoor/outdoor carpet pieces to the bottoms of the ladder feet to prevent deterioration of your floors. You can also give your pets a treat by building a scratching post for your cat or carpeting the doghouse. You can also use remnants to carpet a children's playhouse or tree house.
